She frequently submits articles to DPReview and InterDrone, and is the CEO of her own aerial photo and video production business, Kara E Murphy Aerial Media.
In 2019 Kara was a jury member for our first Boston Drone Film Festival.
Dirk Dallas is an FAA licensed drone pilot, speaker, professor, author of the book “Eyes over the World: The Most Spectacular Drone Photography”, host of Adorama TV’s web series “From Where I Drone”, and he’s a Creative Live instructor. He is seen as an early leader in the drone photography movement having founded @fromwhereidrone and FromWhereIDrone.com, a leading drone photography and cinematography community and website.
Paul “NURK” Nurkkala is the 2018 DRL Allianz World Champion of drone racing, and a dedicated content creator and filmmaker, specializing in high performance drone operations. Nurk was a previous judge for BOSDFF in 2019.
FINKY is a French professional FPV pilot and filmmaker with a strong focus on cinematic shots and creative use of FPV to provide new and exciting angles to the industry. Some of his work has been seen in commercials for brands like Mercedes, GoPro, RedBull, Adidas, Louboutin, Balanciaga, music videos and even a feature film coming soon! He was also the winner of the Freestyle FPV category of BOSDFF in 2019, with his film Parkour Loop.
Jan a.k.a Verjan FPV is an FPV Drone Pilot specializing in aerial sports, and Crane Operator based in Grand Junction, Colorado. I have always been fascinated with flight, building and flying model airplanes and helicopters since was just a kid. In our new era of drones and videography the possibility really is endless. Jan is also part of Drone CO. an FPV drone collaboration with himself, WestPsyde FPV, and Spoony J.

Tatiana is a Brazilian drone pilot and sustainability specialist. Tatiana is passionate about photography and heights. She founded Drone Like a Girl to inspire and empower female drone pilots. The Instagram profile features photos and videos of girls from all over the world, taken in diverse landscapes and countries. She is also co-founder of Drone Squad Brasil, which presents the work of the best drone photographers and cinematographers worldwide.
Nicole Abbett, founder of From Where I Fly, is an award winning Tampa based photographer, videographer, artist and drone pilot. Six years ago Nicole discovered her love for aerial photography and expanded her commercial photography business when she picked up her first drone. Rapidly obtaining certification, she established herself as a leading droneographer and became the first woman to fly at an active airport in the US, as well as the first woman to fly for the NHL (National Hockey League).
Sharon Rossmark is the Chief Executive Officer of Women And Drones, the premier global platform featuring women who are disrupting, innovating, and shaping the future of the drone industry.
She is also a FAA Certified Drone Pilot. Sharon is an international speaker, panelist, and moderator. She has taken the stage to share her passion for drones from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC to the World of Drones Congress in Brisbane, Australia.
She is the co-author of several books introducing young children to drones.
Vadim is an independent award-winning art director with 15+ years of experience, and architectural/cityscape photographer and aerial cinematographer specializing in cityscapes, architectural, landscapes & drone fields. Since he started flying drones almost 5 years ago, he’s created several award winning short drone films as well as dozens of recognizable drone shots used by companies like Netflix, Showtime, American Airlines, Skypixel, DJI and others.
Elena Buenrostro is a Content Producer, Certified Drone pilot, International Speaker, Actress and Founder of Women Who Drone, an online platform and community that inspires, educates and empowers women and girls with drone technology. Elena’s drone journey began on the Great Wall of China where she captured it with her drone. From there, she discovered a whole new perspective and passion for aerial photography and videography. Elena’s drone work has been featured in The Washington post, Fast Company, DJI, The Verge, FierceMitu, Drone Life and many more publications.
Mike Bishop is a multidisciplinary creative director with a background in motion design & VFX. Bishop is also one of the world's most awarded aerial cinematographers and previous winner of the Boston Drone Film Festival. He runs an aerial production company called Motion Craft Aerials.
Noel (aka Majestic Flights) is an award winning photographer that specializes in time-lapse and aerial hyper-lapse films. He has a passion for exploring the world and bringing his viewers unique creative perspectives. His aerial time-lapse film “Hong Kong Dissonance” won the Urban category at the 2019 Boston Drone Film Festival and many of his aerial and time-lapse films have been featured on television. He lives in New Jersey and works as an actuary in New York City. His interests include travel, culture, running, music, and astronomy.
Based in Russia, Vadim is the founder of the ontheroofs.com project dedicated to climbing the tallest structures in the world. For the last 10 years Vadim has visited over 50 countries to photograph and film them from above and on the ground using his drone. In addition to his film-making and photo adventures, Vadim also organizes tours to unique drone locations around the globe.
Wendy Erikson is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, FAA Certified Drone Pilot and host of the Women and Drones Podcast. Wendy also handles digital media and STEM initiatives for WomenAndDrones.com.
