For our first ever BOSDFF grand prize trip ever, we decided to plan a road trip across the Southwest section of the United State. When planning the itinerary we knew we had to find some epic locations and activities to film with our drones. We mapped out the road trip by picking National Park locations we wanted to visit, and finding new and legal spots to fly nearby. Our 2019 winner, Jan Verhaeren’s specialty is filming aerial sports with his FPV drone, so luckily he was able to coordinate a few sessions for us to film base jumpers. Our festival founder, Jovan used his connections at Cahuilla Creek Motorcross and the Imperial Sand Dunes to organize other activities for us to film.
